Meet the Doctor
Hooked on orthopedics since the first surgery he ever saw.
Dr. Allred's career started with a high-school job transporting patients and cleaning operating rooms between cases. One orthopedic surgery later, he knew exactly what he wanted to do with his life.
He trained at the University of Texas Health Science Center, completed his orthopedic residency at the University of Oklahoma, and finished with a Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy fellowship in San Diego. For 15 years in Denver, he built a referral practice treating the complex cases other orthopedic surgeons sent his way — and taught arthroscopy techniques to surgeons from around the world.
"I cherished working with the Sooners and the Padres. But what I really love is taking care of normal people that need the help."
Today he lives in Utah and flies himself to clinics across rural Nevada and Wyoming. His only regret is not making the change sooner.
